Although not considered true lilies, the calla lily is an extraordinary flower. They can be grown either outdoors or indoors by a sunny window!
Your calla lily thrives in bright sunlight. They typically prefer full sun, but might need partial shade if their location is too hot. If planted outside, they should be planted in the springtime, after the threat of frost has passed.
Keep your calla lily moist. Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch, but do not allow your lily to sit in water to avoid root rot.
Your calla lily will benefit from monthly fertilization during growing season.
