The croton is a great addition to your home jungle with its colourful and vibrant colours. Don’t be shocked in you take your croton home and it loses some leaves – this is common as it adjusts to its new home!
Your croton thrives in bright, indirect sunlight. Direct sunlight will cause its leaves to scorch. It cannot tolerate cool temperatures, so keep it in a warm place!
Because it’s a tropical plant, your croton prefers moist soil and high humidity. Allow the top soil to dry between waterings, then water thoroughly. You can maintain humidity by the occasional misting or growing it on a misting tray.
If you bring your croton home, and some leaves fall off within the first week, this is totally normal! It’s just adjusting to its new home.
