Pony Tail Palm

Not actually a “palm,” this tropical plant native to southeastern Mexico is perfect for your busy life. These low-maintenance plants are ideal for beginners and pros alike.

Description

Sun

Provide your ponytail palm with bright, indirect sunlight to full sun. They can go outside for the summer, but will need to be brought in once the temperature gets cooler.

Watering

These plants have adapted to their dry environment by storing water in their trunks, so they won’t need a watering too often. Let the soil dry well between waterings, and then water thoroughly. Brown foliage is a sign of underwatering.
