Retail Sales Associate
We are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic, hard working individual to work in our retail Garden Center and Home Décor departments. The job requires someone who has great customer service skills who can help our customers find the right plants, ceramics and pottery or home accessories that they are looking for.

This is a flexible part time position that will require the candidate to:

Greet customers, answer questions and guide them to locate the items they are looking for.

Stock and price a wide variety of plants and home décor product.

Lift and move heavy plants, pottery, and pull plant carts.
-
help create and build displays and seasonal presentations,
-
answer questions in person and over the phone
-
Cleaning, sweeping, wiping and organizing our plant and home décor displays.
-
Help process sales at the registers and support coverage of breaks and lunches if needed.
-
Experience in a horticultural customer service role and/or in a customer service role is considered an asset.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

In compliance with the store’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures:

Standing/walking for 8 hours.

Lifting and/or carrying of merchandise items, as required, on a regular, frequent and unassisted basis. Merchandise items may vary in weight from “light” to “heavy”.

Lifting and turning repeatedly throughout the shift. Lifting above the shoulder, from floor to shoulder and floor to waist.
-
Walking and carrying at the same time and pushing/pulling, as required.
-
Twisting, turning, reaching and working above shoulder level.

Senior Arcade Lead
Our Arcade department is growing. We are looking for a leader who will support our commitment to providing an excellent customer experience and share our passion for all things FUN! While prior knowledge of video/arcade games is a plus, a desire to learn is even better. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fun and fast-paced environment that will present unique challenges as well as the rewards that come with them.

Job duties will include:
Leads the staff of the arcade during an assigned shift. Ability to guide and direct the work of others. Provides support to team members during peak periods or when scheduling conflicts arise.
- Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient.
- Operating POS system. Handling cash, credit/debit and gift card transactions.
- Maintains arcade appearance and redemption counter presentation to company standards.
- Maintains a clean and organized storage room and supply areas for fast and efficient access. Regular cleaning and restocking as required.
- Minor machine maintenance, repair and troubleshooting (training is provided). Coordinating repairs beyond Department abilities.
- Responsible for the ordering of arcade supplies such as tickets, tokens, coupons and redemption prizes.
- Must have a flexible schedule and weekday availability. Approximately 9am – 5:30pm
