Retail Sales Associate

We’re seeking an outgoing, energetic, and hardworking individual to join our Retail Garden Center and
Home Décor teams. This role is perfect for someone with excellent customer service skills, who enjoys
helping customers find the perfect plants, pottery, ceramics, and home accessories to suit their needs.
JOB SUMMARY
Colasanti’s Tropical Gardens is actively seeking a creative and energetic Retail Sales Associate to join
our team, guiding customers with friendly and helpful suggestions to enhance their shopping
experience and make it enjoyable.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet customers, answer questions and guide them to locate the items they are looking for

Operate the cash register/POS system accurately and efficiently procedures, process cash, debit/credit, and other forms of payment, follow all cash-handling and store
-
Bag and package customers’ purchases carefully
-
Handle customer concerns in a polite and professional manner
-
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
-
Keep produce and freezers fully stocked and visually appealing throughout the day
-
Rotate products and remove items that are damaged, spoiled, or no longer suitable for sale
-
Assist with opening and closing duties.

Receiving, organizing, and putting away deliveries.

Other duties as required

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and varying shifts as necessary

Lifting and/or carrying of merchandise items, as required, on a regular, frequent and unassistedbasis.

Lifting and turning repeatedly throughout the shift. Lifting above the shoulder, from floor toshoulder and floor to waist.

Standing for extended periods

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Wage: $17.60/hour
