Italian Fig

Did you know that our original Italian fig tree cuttings were taken from our founder, Alex Colasanti? Alex used to grow white honey and brown fig trees in his backyard.

This fig tree bears edible fruit from July to September and will start to lose its leaves in November in the cold weather. Your Italian Fig can be kept in a pot or planted in the ground, just make sure it is placed somewhere it will receive plenty of sunlight.
The roots of this plant are not winter hardy. This crop is typically ready in spring and is available while supplies last.

Lighting: High-light plants require full sunlight to assume their full potential, which means they need at least 6 hours of direct, bright light a day.

Irrigation: During the growing season maintain evenly moist, not soggy soil. Increased sun
exposure and temperature will also increase the frequency of watering.
