Caladium
Plant Care Tips & Tricks

Caladiums are tropical foliage plants known for their large, heart-shaped leaves that look hand-painted with stunning colour combinations. Their exotic foliage rivals any flowering plant.
Lighting: These plants require indirect, bright light to maintain their vibrant foliage. Avoid direct sun which is likely to cause burnt foliage.
Irrigation: Allow the soil to slightly dry between thorough irrigations. Water until liquid runs from drainage holes at the bottom of the pot and discard excess water. Do not allow your plant to sit in standing water as it will lead to root rot. Allowing soil to slightly dry permits oxygen to reach the roots.
Humidity: Caladiums prefer a humid environment. Add moisture around your plant by using a mister, pebble tray, or humidifier.
Fertilizer: Feed once a month in the spring and summer using a balanced fertilizer. Follow package instructions.
