Citrus Plants
Plant Care Tips & Tricks

Each spring we bring in a wide assortment of exotic fruiting trees. All of these varieties are tropical fruit, they are not winter hardy. They will enjoy the outdoors during the summer season, but will need to come inside for our cool Canadian fall, winter and spring seasons.
Varieties: Can vary from year to year but past varieties have included avocado, Barbados cherry, black pepper, cashew, guava, jackfruit, miracle fruit, olive, pomegranate, sugar apple.
Lighting: High light plants require full sunlight to assume their full potential. They need at least 6 hours of direct, bright light a day. The brightest spot in your home is the best place to put them.
Irrigation: Allow the soil to slightly dry between thorough irrigations.
Fertilizer: Once a month during spring and summer. Use a balanced fertilizer and follow package recommendations.
