Cordyline
Plant Care Tips & Tricks

Cordyline is a small tree or evergreen shrub that is popular for its vibrant, lance-shaped foliage. The multicoloured leaves display shades of bright pink, burgundy, and green. This striking colour palette adds a touch of drama and bold, tropical flair to any space.
Lighting: This plant requires a high-light location to achieve its vibrant colouring. A South-facing window or bright West or East facing window is ideal.
Irrigation: Allow the soil to slightly dry between thorough irrigations. Water until liquid runs from drainage holes at the bottom of the pot and discard excess water. Do not allow your plant to sit in standing water as it will lead to root rot. Allowing soil to slightly dry permits oxygen to reach the roots.
Humidity: Cordyline does well in average household humidity, but will also appreciate additional moisture from a pebble tray or the occasional misting.
Fertilizer: Once a month during spring and summer using a balanced fertilizer. Follow package recommendations.
