Plant Care Tips & Tricks

Curcuma Plant

Curcuma is a tropical plant belonging to the ginger family, though it’s not edible. It has lengthy stems, adorned with lance-shaped foliage and elegant summer blooms in shades of pinkish-purple.

Lighting: This plant requires a lot of bright, indirect sunlight to produce maximum blooms; however, avoid direct sun as it can burn the foliage.

Irrigation: Keep the soil consistently moist, but not waterlogged. Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry. You can reduce watering in Fall and Winter.

Humidity: This will appreciate extra humidity when it is in bloom. Consider using a pebble tray, humidifier, or occasional misting.
