Cyclamen
Plant Care Tips & Tricks

With interesting flowers showcasing beautiful swept-back petals and leaves with intricate silver patterns, Cyclamen are a staple houseplant for winter. These Mediterranean plants are known for going dormant in the summer, losing their flowers and leaves, but don't fret, because once the cooler days of Autumn return the plant will put out new shoots.
Lighting: This plant requires a lot of bright sunlight to produce maximum blooms; however, avoid direct sun as it can burn the foliage.
Irrigation: When in bloom keep the soil moist. Reduce watering schedule in the Summer when the plant is dormant.
Humidity: Cyclamen will appreciate extra humidity when it is in bloom. Consider using a pebble tray, humidifier, or occasional misting.
