Elephant Bush

Plant Care Tips & Tricks

Elephant bush

The Elephant Bush grows like a shrub with branches that sprout small, round leaves (I’m sure you can see how this plant got its name). Over time, this plant has become a houseplant staple because of its slow growing nature. This is also one of the things that makes it a great choice for bonsai cultivation.

Lighting: Lots of access to bright, indirect sunlight for 5-6 hours a day.

Irrigation: Hold off on watering this little plant until the top few inches of soil are dry. It's a succulent, so you’ll want to water deeply and thoroughly, just on occasion.

Humidity: This plant does not require added humidity. It prefers a dry environment.
