Nephthytis
Plant Care Tips & Tricks

Also known as Arrowhead Plant, this naturally bushy tropical is an indoor favourite because of its broad leaves and easy-going nature. As it grows and matures it starts to vine, giving you the option to prune it and keep its original bushy shape or allow the vines to grow trail.
Varieties: Strawberry Cream, Butterfly, Milk Confetti, Batik
Lighting: Nepthytis prefer indirect bright light. Avoid direct sun which is likely to cause sunburnt foliage.
Irrigation: Allow the soil to slightly dry between thorough irrigations. Water until liquid runs from drainage holes at the bottom of the pot and discard excess water. Do not allow your plant to sit in standing water as it will lead to root rot.
Humidity: Nepthytis can adapt to average household humidity but will flourish in an environment with more moisture. You can add humidity around your plant by placing it on a pebble tray, using a humidifier, or misting it occasionally.
Fertilizer: Use a balanced fertilizer during the Spring and Summer. Follow package instructions.
