Philodendron
Plant Care Tips & Tricks

Philodendrons are popular indoor tropicals because of their simple care requirements and wide variety of styles. Most of the cultivars we produce have trailing growth habits and look stunning in hanging baskets or vining up a trellis.
Varieties: Birkin, Black Cardinal, Black Gold Melanochrysum, Brazil, Green, Dragon Tail, Hastatum Silver Sword, Micans, Minima Split Leaf, Monstera Split Leaf, Moonlight, Paraiso Verde, Pink Princess, Prince of Orange, Red Sun, Ring of Fire, Rojo Congo, Silver Sword, Amydrium Spider Man, Swiss Cheese, Thai Constellation, Verrucosum, White Princess
Lighting: Generally, philodendrons prefer indirect, bright sunlight. Direct sun can burn their foliage.
Irrigation: Allow the soil to slightly dry between thorough irrigations. Water until liquid runs from drainage holes at the bottom of the pot and discard excess water. Do not allow your plant to sit in standing water as it will lead to root rot.
Humidity: Philodendrons will adapt to average household humidity levels.
Fertilizer: Feed once a month in the spring and summer using a balanced fertilizer. Follow package instructions.
