Pilea
Plant Care Tips & Tricks

Pilea peperomioides is a playful-looking plant that is identifiable by its unique pad-like foliage. Also known by its common names, Friendship Plant or Chinese Money Plant, Pilea is loved not only because of its quirky aesthetic but also its easy-going nature.
Lighting: This plant enjoys lots of bright, indirect sunlight. Avoid direct sun as it can burn the foliage. Rotate every so often to prevent the stems from tilting towards the light.
Irrigation: Allow 50% to 75% of the soil to dry between thorough irrigations. Water until liquid runs from drainage holes at the bottom of the pot and discard excess water. Do not allow your plant to sit in standing water as it will lead to root rot.
Humidity: This plant does not require added humidity.
Fertilizer: Feed once a month during the summer using a balanced fertilizer. Follow package recommendations.
