Pineapple

Ananas comosus, or Pineapple plant, is shallow-rooted with thick spiny leaves and striking flowers that are followed by fruit. In the summer you can put your pineapple plant outside. During autumn, winter and early spring your plant will need to stay indoors in a warm environment.

Lighting: This plant thrives in full sun. Provide at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily for the best blooming and growth.

Irrigation: Water when the topsoil is dry to the touch.
