Pothos

Plant Care Tips & Tricks

Golden Pothos

Reputable and widely popular as houseplants, these trailing vines look great in hanging baskets or small pots. They offer lots of attractive varieties with green, heart-shaped leaves that vary in pattern, shades, and sizes. Some have creamy variegation on the leaves, while others have streaks of yellow or silver-like markings. Pothos can withstand neglect, too, so they’re perfect for busy plant parents.

Varieties: Golden, Marble Queen, Neon, Pearls & Jade, Cebu Blue

Lighting: Many Pothos varieties will tolerate low to medium light conditions but prefer indirect, bright lighting. Be mindful of direct sun which will scorch the leaves.

Irrigation: Allow the soil to slightly dry between thorough irrigations. Water until liquid runs from drainage holes at the bottom of the pot and discard excess water. Do not allow your plant to sit in standing water as it will lead to root rot.

Humidity: Pothos plants will adapt to average household humidity.

Fertilizer: Feed once a month during the summer using a balanced fertilizer. Follow package recommendations.
