Rubber Plant

Plant Care Tips & Tricks

Rubber Plants

One of the most popular indoor houseplants, Rubber Plants are loved for their broad, glossy leaves that come in a variety of different colours. They can be enjoyed as small to medium indoor house plants by restricting them to smaller pots or grown to become a focal point as a stunning indoor tree.

Varieties: Tineke, Ruby, Green, Burgundy

Lighting: Rubber plants enjoy lots of bright, indirect sunlight. Direct sun will result in burnt foliage.

Irrigation: Allow about 50% of the soil to dry between thorough irrigations. Water until liquid runs from drainage holes at the bottom of the pot and discard excess water. Do not allow your plant to sit in standing water as it will lead to root rot.

Humidity: Rubber plants are happy in average household humidity.

Fertilizer: Feed once a month during the summer using a balanced fertilizer.
