Tradescantia

Also known as Inch Plants, Tradescantia are fast-growing vining plants that never go out of style. They have remained one of the most popular indoor tropicals across generations because of their easygoing temperament and variety of cultivars

Varieties: Nanouk, Pink Panther, Spathacea Silver, Sanna, Variegated White, Variegated Purple, Mundula Tricolour

Lighting: This care requirement can vary based on the variety. Typically, tradescantia enjoy medium to bright, indirect sunlight. Direct sun will burn the leaves.

Irrigation: Allow about 50% of the soil to dry between thorough irrigations. Water until liquid runs from drainage holes at the bottom of the pot and discard excess water. Do not allow your plant to sit in standing water as it will lead to root rot.

Humidity: Tradescantia appreciate environments with a little more moisture. They will enjoy the use of a pebble tray, humidifier, or occasional misting.

Fertilizer: Feed once a month during the summer using a balanced fertilizer. Follow package recommendations.
