ZZ Plant
Plant Care Tips & Tricks

ZZ Plants are perfect for a beginner or a busy person on the go. Their densely packed, thick vertical stems are adorned with shiny, dark green leaves that create an eye-catching display. ZZ Plants are perfect for the home or office not only because of their unique look but also because of their tolerance for neglect. They can grow in low light conditions and are drought-tolerant.
Varieties: Zamioculcas zamifolia, Mignight
Lighting: ZZ plants tolerate low light conditions but thrive in spaces with medium to bright, indirect sunlight.
Irrigation: Allow soil to mostly dry between thorough irrigations. Water until liquid runs from drainage holes at the bottom of the pot and discard excess water. Do not allow your plant to sit in standing water as it will lead to root rot.
Humidity: This plant does not require added humidity. It prefers a dry environment.
Fertilizer: Once a month in summer is good. Once every two months during Fall, Winter, and Spring. Any house plant food will work well.
