Working Service Animals are welcome at Colasanti’s. Pets are not permitted. Do you rent wheelchairs, strollers, or wagons? I'm sorry, we do not have medical equipment, strollers, or wagons available for guest use. We would suggest bringing your own mobility aid to help make your visit as comfortable as possible. Are you open on holidays? Colasanti’s is open daily, closing 4 days a year: December 24 December 25 December 31 January 1 Hours may vary per season. There’s no admission fee to enter the facility, but to participate in any of our activities there is an associated cost. The Animal Area has cement and brick pathways throughout to help provide smooth access to indoor habitats. There is one cement pathway outside. Parts of the outdoor Animal Area do require the ability to move over loose gravel and dirt. Our Mini Golf Course holes are connected by cement paths. Please note that the holes themselves have rocks and obstacles. The perimeter of each hole is surrounded by bricks, helping to keep the ball in play. Are your activities indoors? Our 18 Hole Mini Golf Course and arcade are indoors. Late spring to early fall, we open a small outdoor section of the Animal Area. Most of our habitats are indoors, perfect for those cold and rainy days. Field Trips, Birthday Parties, and Large Group Q's Do you offer Field Trip Workshops? Yes we do. Colasanti’s uses mild, lemon scented dish soap on their plants in order to keep their plants clean. Add a couple of tablespoons of mild dish soap to 1 litre of water. Mist your plants with the mixture. Let the soap sit on the leaves for 2-4 hours (you can leave the soap overnight) and rinse off your plant with water. Make sure that you do not set your soapy leaves in the sun. The soap on the leaves could them to burn. Repeat this process 3 more times, 4 days apart. Taking plants out of the country? USDA, CFIA, CITIES and Homeland Security no longer provide us with the proper certification to allow retail plants to cross the border into the United States. Our sincerest apologies.
